We want your first visit at our office to go smoothly. Here is what you can expect at that initial appointment.
You can eliminate the need to arrive early to your first appointment by visiting our New Patient Forms page, clicking on the link, completing before your appointment day. Otherwise, please arrive about 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork in our office.
Your appointment will begin with a complete oral exam, an oral cancer screening and an exam of your temporomandibular joint. We also will ask you about your major concerns, as well as your oral health goals.
We will take a complete set of digital X-rays to use for diagnostic purposes. We will share any areas of concern with you, and we will recommend several options if treatment is needed.
One of our registered dental hygienists will clean your teeth at this appointment, and will offer home care instructions if necessary.
