Dr. Bill Nunn is a Buffalo, Missouri native who knew as a child that he wanted to work in the medical field. Going into dentistry afforded him the opportunity to run an independent practice and still have a well-rounded family life outside the office.
His favorite aspect of dentistry is the people. For all of the reward he gets from finishing a patient’s treatment and seeing the joy on their faces when their new smiles are revealed, he admits that the personal relationships mean just as much. He loves to visit with his patients; not just treat them.
Dr. Nunn is a general dentist who values continuing education. He consistently pursues training on new techniques and advancements in the field that pave the way to better treatment options for patients. He has been a member of the Pankey Institute, which provides advanced dental education, since 1985. He has completed extensive training in cosmetic treatments and dental implant restorations.
Dr. Nunn earned his bachelor’s degree from Drury College before entering dental school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He earned his DDS degree in 1984.

Dr. Nunn and his wife Kathy are Springfield residents. When he isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, including his granddaughter, and taking beach trips to Destin, Florida. He also hunts and fishes, and is an avid pheasant hunter. Other hobbies include playing golf and restoring classic cars.
